Oil Painting - 18x24 inches This lake lies to the east and south of Windermere, BC. It is accessed by forestry roads and along a side road off the Bull River Valley. It is not a heavily used lake, and when we arrived the place was deserted except for a pair of eagles soaring in the clear sky above. We spent the day there, sketching, photographing, and exploring. During that time two men arrived on dirt bikes, having come up a series of back roads from Fernie earlier that morning on a long day trip. When we left, two ladies arrived and set up their tent in the small campsite on the lake shore. What a lovely peaceful night they had in store for them.
