Warmed by a Western Glow 11x14 oils
Our younger daughter had just bought her first house, and was anxious to show it off, so we flew to Nova Scotia for two weeks. It sat on a height of land (it’s called a mountain there), and has a great view of the Bay of Fundy, and the New Minus Basin, far in the distance. It is in the country, and surrounded by farm land and a tree nursery. Across the road sits a cute little house which is no longer in use, except by her tabby cat Motor, who brings home mice he catches under the stoop by the pawful daily. This evening was close to our last oneof the visit. The sunsets are lovely there, and the warm glow touched the old house and gave it warmth.
