Painting Wiwaxy Morning, Lk.O'Hara by Cecilia Lea

Wiwaxy Morning, Lk.O'Hara

An 8x10 inch plein air painting. Done one morning sitting on a rock along the shore of Lower Lake O’Hara last July. Wiwaxy is the Stoney First Nations word for windy. It was the first climb I did at Lake O’Hara when I worked there in 1966. The peak rises directly across from the lodge.
